Before our weekend at Luna's grandmother's house, we celebrated my birthday at Toulouse with my mom, Todd, Erika, Raul and of course Luna. I always get a free birthday entree from them each year and it's a great place to celebrate your birthday. Their souffles alone are amazing. Especially when they add a shot of Grand Marnier to it!
We had a fun playdate with Jack and Ody on Thursday morning and relaxed the rest of the day to stay out of the heat! Then on Friday morning, after Luna napped, we headed up to Coco's house. A whole 30 miles up to Plano, TX. Usually it is hard to visit my mom because Luna takes a nap every 2 hours and we are rushing to her house and back home. So we decided to spend the night! After we had dinner, cousin Meghan came over from a visit too!
On Sunday we went to Blue Mesa's brunch with Todd, Bao and her family and my friend Karen. Luna was fighting her morning nap so she was CRANKY. Hence the pacifier! We ate, shoveled food in our mouths and rushed home. The joys of eating with a toddler!
With all of the record high temps we've had, Luna enjoyed the indoors today! Our house got so hot, at 82 degrees even with our thermostat set at 76! Here she is roaming all over the house with her favorite toy- her phone. Trying to call her daddy. So cute!
