I am starting to feel better, not as much morning sickness, some occasional gagging that pops out of nowhere at no particular time of day, but overall doing well. I just have to remember to keep eating snacks every hour instead of every 2 hours as I used to do pre-pregnancy. I have also tried to continue my workouts to help my body stay in shape for an easier delivery and post recovery, but yeah, not so much. I still do hip hop dance once a week and then found a prenatal trainer I try to see once a week as well. My midwife recommends an hour walk a day and have just not quite gotten up to that goal, maybe next week!
We are over 15 weeks along now. The baby has reached the size of my fist or a navel orange. We had our 12 week check-up on November 4th and heard the heartbeat! She said it sounded strong and was around 170 which is normal, of course mine was right up there too as I get nervous at doctor's offices anyway. Everything is on track so far and no concerns.

Our first wedding anniversary! I can’t believe it has been a whole year, it has flown by so fast. Todd took me to the Mansion on Turtle Creek for dinner to celebrate. We both ordered different soups, tortilla and corn chowder and Todd ordered the Salmon and I had the lobster pasta. Of course I was so happy to be pregnant that I didn’t miss having a glass of wine, and ordered a Shirley Temple, I was really living it up! My favorite course was the last one, dessert! We ordered the Mansion candy bar with lime sherbert. Thank you for everything Todd, you are the best husband ever!! Can not believe this day was finally here!! Carmen’s wedding day! We’ve been friends since high school and I was so excited for her, as she finally met the man of her dreams! I am so happy for her and Michel! All of the bridesmaids met in the bridal suite at Hotel Palomar to get ready and then we headed out in the Hummer Limo to the church. Our driver was super late to pick us up, so we were definitely not getting to the church on time- 45 minutes later, we were walking down the aisle. The Priest zipped through the hour long service in less than 30 minutes and we were out the door, ready to party! The reception was a blast, with balloons, party horns, band, Cuban and Lebanese dancing, and belly dancers. By 12:30am, we were calling it a night, being pregnant I was not able to stay up as late and as I left, Carmen and Mich were still tearing it up on the dancefloor!
