 Today is our precious Honey Bear’s birthday! She turned 11 years old and is over the hump. Can’t believe it has been a whole 11 years! The day started with many hugs and kisses, followed by a special organic treat of Pumpkin Chicken chews and a new dog squeeky toy. She tore into the toy and is desperately still trying to devour the dog to get to the plastic squeek.

 After a long week of work, it was time for a nice dinner and some red wine. We decided to find a nice patio to chill out and headed out to our favorite Dallas pizza place, Campania. Just thinking of a large slice of buffalo mozzarella, basil with homemade tomato sauce and grilled onions pizza was making me drool! It is hands down best in town! We enjoyed a cool evening out on the patio and brought our own wine picked up from a local Lakewood wine store. While we desperately wish we were still in the Campania region of Italy sitting on a porch looking out at the ocean, at least we can enjoy a little bit of the closet thing to real Italian food here in flat Dallas :)
