Dallas Restaurant Week!! Need I say more?? We said we weren’t going to do it but once this year, but couldn’t resist! We started out at York Street for the first one as we had heard such great things about it and is in our neighborhood. It was crowded but good, we decided we would give it another chance on a regular night.
Then we met up with Jeff, Angie, Mike and Traci at Fearings at the Ritz! It was an awesome meal and the service was amazing! Would definitely go back, or wait, 50$ entrees? I think we will make it back next year but probably not anytime in between. We still love our Stephen Pyles but wanted to give other people the chance to try out our favorite restaurant so we gave up our reservation to let the rest of Dallas see what we have talked about.
Next on our list was the French Room!! A first for Dallas I believe for restaurant week and it was well worth it! With the strict dress code we felt like we were dining in a French castle as the room is amazingly beautiful and the service outstanding and the food, not your old typical French but very modern and delicious!
I then had a girls birthday dinner for Monica at Abacus on a Tuesday, with Rachel, Karen, Christina, and Tyler. The food was really good, great atmosphere, and a sample of little desserts. Good times!
Then lastly, I celebrated Traci’s bday with Angie at Bolla in the new Stoneleigh. The newly remodeled restaurant was super cool and they treated us with complimentary champagne! Food was great and would definitely go back soon.
