Luna got a visit from her Aunt Karen! She has just woken up from a nap and was so excited to see her!

Luna just LOVES her johnny jump up and gets so much use out of it! She finally has a toy where she can use her little legs and move around. It helps her mommy too to be able to make dinner while she plays. Little Honey Bear just had to get in the action too, trying to steal the scene! Luna loves bathtime! So much that she splashes all of the water out of her little Whale tub. Last night we decided during bathtime that it will probably be the last time she takes one in her little tub on the sink. Next time we are moving to the big time, taking a bath in her whale tub in the big girl tub!
Oh and I just had to post the picture of her new toy, the Tummy Tub! I wish I had found this thing sooner when she was younger and more fussy! It is supposed to mimic the womb and you can keep babies in it up to 2 years of age or so, and it calms them down. You can also use it as a bath tub but it's kind of hard to get to all the nooks and crannies if you do. Luna looks just adorable in her new towels that her friend Tinsley's Uncle Phil bought for her! She looks like a little doll in her sunflower towel, and loves posing in it! Luna turned 4 months old on 9/13 and it's amazing how time has flown!! I know I will probably be saying that each month but it is so true, I feel like it was just the other day I gave birth to her and she weighed only 7 pounds! We didn't want Luna to go on her check-up on her actual birthday, so we scheduled her 4 month appt on the 14th. She was so cute and smiled when the doctor walked in! She couldn't stop smiling at her, and if only poor little Luna knew what she was in for in a few minutes with her shots! Her pediatrician said she is right on track with everything, and since she is only breastfed, she doesn't need to start solids until she is 6 months old, so she has another 2 months to go. Here are her updates: Weight: 14.4 pounds, 60th % Length: 24.5 inches 50% Head: 40.25 25% Luna loves taking a bath and watches herself in the mirror next to her tub! Luna loves her 'spa' time and relaxes in her robe. And yes, that is spit-up on my shirt -spit happens :)
Luna has decided she no longer likes her swing, for now at least! So we decided to get out the Excersaucer and Johnny Jump Up (seat that bounces and attaches to a doorway) to try. She loves the Bumbo as she can see things better and look around, but loves her new toys even better! They are like the Bumbo on speed! We put her in each with a towel to support her (as recommended by Aunt Heather and Caroline) as she is still too little and wobbles some. She can now entertain herself and has a lot of fun using her little legs!
We headed down to OK City for Labor Day weekend and had a great time! We were able to see my grandparents and Todd's family (Aunt Heather, Uncle Rey, cousins Carolyn and Rey) and we were excited that my Uncle Bud and Aunt Lisa drove down from Tulsa to visit, and my sister Erika and my mom and Raul came as well! It was a full packed weekend for sure. We shopped at some of the new baby stores in the area, and love their new Classen Curve Shopping area- very fancy and modern shopping strip for OK City and they are getting a Whole Foods too!! OK City is going from black and white to color finally! :) Luna had such a great time seeing her family and it was nice that there was always someone to hold her and never got bored. We hated saying goodbye but we decided to leave late Sunday so we could relax a bit back in Dallas for the holiday. We hope to be back soon as we weren't able to see everyone, and our next trip we'll stop to see her cousin Lin and Ernesto and Aunt Liz. 4 Generations! Momo, Mary Sue, Kira and Luna Cousin Carolyn Cousin Rey Aunt Lisa Great-Grandmother Momo
