Dr. Deuber said she is doing great and developing well. We will continue to give her 2% milk which we switched to 3 months ago. My mom said back in the day, she was told never to give whole milk to kids, but now they recommend it the first year, and then switching to 2% after they turn 2- due to the obesity epidemic in kids.
She also hit the nail on the head with Luna's diet- some weeks she may just love something like strawberries, and then the next week turn her nose up at them! That is definitely Luna.
As for potty training, we are still waiting on that and Dr. Deuber agreed. She said if Luna can come up to me and say she needs to go potty and pull down her pants and go, then she is ready. Luna is definitely not there yet. She can tell me she has gone or needs to go poop, and sometimes before bath time will sit on the potty and go on her own, but we for sure have a ways to go! Don't worry, I'm in no rush. I don't want to push it and have a power struggle on my hands or have it turn into a medical issue :(
Other than that, Luna is right on track and saying new words every day. She is also loving saying her favorite toddler word, 'no' right now :)
