We started the weekend with a playdate at Bake and Play on Friday with Caroline and her daughter Emily! The girls have not seen each other since they were like 6 months old. Our moms are good friends and we are excited she is pregnant with her second, another girl! And trying to catch any of them for the camera, not going to happen, they love Bake and Play too much to stop playing.
Saturday was the Big Day. Although I was not as excited at all about the game. In fact, the party we go to every year, I was not in a hurry to get to and we walked in right at 11am, to a party with about half as many people as usual. I think most people decided to do other things that day like actually go to their kid's soccer game. But the kids had fun playing a the adults enjoyed the Bloody Mary bar :)
While Todd watched Belle during the LSU game, I took Luna to a birthday party that afternoon at Pump it Up. It was a super hero theme and the kids had a lot of fun. Then at one point, I turned around and saw Spider Man holding Luna and was in shock! She wasn't afraid at all. One year ago, she would have freaked, but she's gotten so brave. When I was her age, I remember being super afraid of the Hulk that was at Sales Street Fair! I am really hoping she isn't as fearful as I was as a kid :) Sorry for the blurry iPhone photo but I was trying to snap it before she demanded to be put down.
We started this blog about 'nothing' a couple of years ago, but now it has turned into a blog about our precious daughter Luna, born on May 13, 2010! And then we welcomed baby Belle, 2 years later on May 23rd, 2012.
