I hosted our PTA play group at our house on Monday and had a great time! I got out all of Luna's indestructible toys and the hit was the Little Tikes coupe. They all wanted a piece of it, it was hilarious. But they all learned to take turns and share the road! Poor Luna also had a little fever on Monday, but the nurses swear it is teething, so the poor thing has been cranky and not sleeping well. I think her molars are coming in :(
That night I met my friend Maria out for a birthday celebration at Javiers. She was in town visiting from San Fran and we were so happy she stuck around so we could celebrate her birthday. Of course I go there late after Todd got home and Luna was already asleep. Now that we are parents, we just can't get out as much as we used to.
Luna started her first swim lessons at the Y on Monday!! She really loves the water and enjoys learning to splash, blow bubbles and getting used to being in the water. She was a little scared of the kicking pole but she eventually got used to it. Todd was able to meet us on Wednesday and Luna loved having him there to watch her learn to swim. He even got in the water at the end of class to get a little Daddy and Me time.
