But Luna LOVED being there and wanted out of her stroller to see everything. Poor Todd sure got a work out chasing Luna around as I pushed the empty stroller. Her favorite animal was the Gorilla and kept asking 'more more' each time he moved. (And no, they are not trapped in some glass container, they do have a pretty big jungle area to roam around in, they just have a little glass observation area for us to view them through).
Yesterday was Todd's birthday so we planned a fun family outing to the Dallas Zoo before her afternoon nap. She hadn't been yet and we have been wanting to take her for a long time now. AND, I had not been to the Dallas Zoo since I was a kid myself. Let me tell you, it has really, really changed! But I can still remember going with my preschool and holding a Boa Constrictor and actually found the room my class was in- I can't believe they still have some of the old buildings there. She also enjoyed seeing the big animals in the African Savannah. Elephants, Giraffes, Lions and Zebras!
