While I was pregnant with Luna, there were so many choices to make in purchasing all the baby gear and the hardest was the nursery! I was constantly asked what 'theme' I wanted to use and I had no idea what I was going to choose. After looking at several stores, all I saw was a bunch of brown and pink everywhere, and as people that know me well know that I don't have anything brown (clothes, shoes, etc) so I decided to find something pink and black. I do love the lavenders, yellows and greens but I gave in to gender stereotyping and picked pink.
We found a nice bedding ensemble and then wanted something cutsie and figured adding a few figures from my favorite city, Paris! So, after getting the walls painted, Todd and I picked out the furniture and he installed it all (yes it is convertible that we hope she keeps until she goes off to college!). Todd also spent many hours trying out the gliders in different stores and went with the high back style from babies r us and I have to say is super comfortable! He hopes to move it into the living room soon :)
My mom brought over my old antique high chair and old doll buggy I used to use as a child to push my dolls around and look super cute in her room. Lastly, we added the final touches by adding a few Eiffel Towers- now she's stylin'!
