Then off we went to the planned event for the day! Going to William-Sonoma for the book signing of Bakerella's cookbook at Northpark Mall. We got in line at 11:30am and I was number 68, and Luna's friend Jack and his mommy met us there and waited in line with us, then we were ushered into the store for a demonstration at 12pm. I knew Luna would have a meltdown soon as she was starving, so I had to nurse her in the back corner of the store during the demo, which was such a relief because she was much happier, who knows what state she would have been in if I waited!
We then got back in our line, and by the time we got up there (there was around 200 people waiting total), it was around 1:30pm. So, we get inside and then I got disorganized. The staff asked for my book, and I had 2 cameras (in case 1 didn't work out) and I had Luna in my arms and the stroller- it was a very rushed ordeal- so I got up to meet her, and was star struck but managed to tell her I was glad to meet her and the staff had my cameras snapping away and then we were done! After all of that, I was so excited, that I didn't realize Luna had her paci in her mouth the entire time!! I love her little smile and could not believe I forgot to take it out for her big Photo Op!! And I only had it in her mouth because she was getting restless in line, but normally I try not to let her have it as much. Darn! Oh well. I guess that's part of being a Mom and managing 5 different tasks all at once! She was so tuckered out, she passed out the minute I put her in the car.
We can't wait to check the Bakerella.com website to see if she got on her blog.
