A few weeks ago my sister had her birthday party at White Rock Skate and my step sister and her family were in town: Husband Russ, and kids Marcos and Katalina. We started the weekend off at White Rock Skate and it was like a trip back in time! It brought back old memories of skating at Star Lite Skate (the one off Harry Hines and Forest) and Thunderbird, and Joseyskate Land! The minute I walked in the doors, it felt like nothing in this rink had changed one bit and I was in the movie Roller Boogie (the one with Linda Blair!). Luna was fascinated with all of the lights and skates. The theme was 80's and Luna came as Rainbow Bright!

Then the next day we went up to my mom's house for a family dinner. Aunt Mimi bought Luna the cutest Disney Princess dress up dress for her birthday! She LOVED wearing it! We had a nice afternoon with Picadillo, and Cuban black beans and rice. We are sorry they have to leave and hope to see them again soon!
