Luna started her very first Ballet/Tap class on Wednesday! Ever since we went to Bao's daughter Ava's dance recital back in May, Luna has been obsessed with ballet. She watches 'So You Think You Can Dance' with me, and begs for me to show her 'ballet' clips I find on You Tube. So, I searched and searched for a ballet class that was for 2 year olds and wasn't a 'movement' class and finally found one at Studio B in Lakewood! She was soo looking forward to her first class and was super excited when we went shopping for her dance clothes and shoes.
My mom came with me to take her to her first class on Wednesday at 11:30. It's only for 30 minutes, and parents are NOT allowed to watch as it will disrupt class and make it impossible to learn (go figure!). It's hilarious to watch the girls walk in their classroom and then come out with their little bags all ready to go. We can't wait for the Parent Observation Day, and then they will have the Holiday Show and the May Recital.
