Next on the plan was lunch. And while we waiting in line at Chick Fil A, I asked them if it was even worth it to order my own meal because we all knew none of us moms would be able to eat. But we decided to try anyway. So we sat down with our cranky hungry toddlers and crying babies. None of us were really able to eat our food, so we took a few bites and then packed it up.
And then what about summed up our day was when Ella Grace spilled Jenny's soda while Heather was nursing her baby Isla and Jenny was trying to clean it up while holding William in her Ergo carrier, and I was swinging Belle in her car seat carrier to get her to fall asleep. I just started laughing at the madness and took a picture. It was hilarious! One of those things we will definitely look back and laugh. In fact, today at my MOPS meeting, we were discussing life before kids and how we had so much free time, could go out to eat and actually eat, (and go to movies, go to the gym, etc.), remember those days when you had a free Sunday and could lounge on the sofa and watch TV and take a nap?
