So yesterday my playgroup friends and I were going to have a picnic at the Arboretum, but we woke up to 40 degree weather. So we decided to meet at Northpark instead to play with the ducks and the playground at the Disney Store. Luna loved seeing her friends Ella Grace, Jack, Alex and Addison. She was really wanting to crawl up the infamous wall by Neiman Marcus. This is the slanted wall that I used to climb up and slide down as a kid and I used to think it was soo tall and scary! She also loved seeing the ducks and turtles in the pond.

Then, today we woke up to an ice storm, or should I say we woke up in the middle of the night to ice pelting the windows and waking up to a sheet of ice! It was my turn to have a playdate today at my house, and there was no way that was going to happen. So I postponed it to Friday. The whole city was closed, including DISD which never shuts down. Tonight it's going to be around 5 degrees, the coldest Dallas has seen in almost 20 years!
Todd built a nice fire, Luna stayed in her PJ's all day and we had hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows.
